Thriving Chiropractic is Your Holistic Health Clinic in Mountain View

At Thriving Chiropractic, we take a holistic approach to healthcare by using a variety of healing modalities to address our patients’ complaints. From chiropractic to acupuncture to massage to physical therapy, we design tailored wellness plans for each client so that they can return to the activities they love.

Because of our location in the heart of Silicon Valley, we specialize in treating repetitive strain injuries like bulging discs, tendonitis, muscle pain/tightness, and pinched nerves – a constellation of conditions commonly referred to as “Silicon Valley Syndrome.” Additionally, Dr. Helen’s personal background in competitive sports coupled with her extensive training as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician has made her an expert in treating sports-related injuries. However, she applies the same multi-disciplinary approach to healing regardless of what brings patients into the practice.

At Thriving Chiropractic, We Take a Four-Phase Approach To Your Healing

Phase One: Listen and Learn

Listening is the first step to identify the root cause of each client’s specific issues. You know your body best. We don’t recommend any techniques until we’ve had a chance to hear from you. Once we know more about your medical history and the injury that brought you to see us, we do a thorough physical examination. Then we create a personalized treatment plan that combines a variety of modalities.

Phase Two: Address and Relieve Immediate Pain

The initial focus of treatment is always on relieving your immediate pain. Depending on the severity of your symptoms, this might mean seeing one or more of our specialists 2-3 times a week for acupuncture, massage, or physical therapy in addition to chiropractic adjustments early on in your treatment.

Phase Three: Detect and Correct the Root Cause

As with most health issues, pain is often the end result of an underlying condition. Too many people accept aches and pains as “just part of life.” We want to make sure that your pain doesn’t become constant. To that end, we sometimes recommend ongoing corrective care via office visits or at-home exercises to accelerate healing.

Phase Four: Maintain Wellness and Prevent Further Injury

Routine chiropractic care can help keep your body in optimal condition and ensure that injuries don’t recur. Just as we all make regular dental care a priority for our overall health, regular check-ups with your chiropractor can help you to avoid developing chronic problems that require complicated and expensive medical interventions down the road.
